Abstract  Reactive power control equipments of many transformer substation are "nine-zone diagram" control method, and improving the passing rate of the secondary bus voltage substation effect is very significant. However, the traditional substation Vol/Var Coordinated Control (VQC) based nine-zone diagram, has some disadvantages such as oscillatory putting in and out of capacitances, frequent adjusting of OLTC, etc. With size and capacity of regional power grid to expand, it is difficult to meet smooth and economical operation of regional power grid by using reactive power control equipment, so reactive voltage optimization system of regional power grid will be researched and designed in this paper.
