Control strategy of low voltage micro-grid in island mode |

Abstract According to the decentralization and intermittent characteristics of distributed generation, as well asdifferent levels of load, the collaborative control strategy is developed between various distributed generations to protect the micro-grid, which is operating in island mode, safe and stable. In this article, in order to improve the reliability of the micro-grid, the master-slave control is adopted to control the micro-grid. When micro-grid is operating in island mode, the source-load balancing strategy ensures that the important load is uninterrupted running; secondly, the source-load balancing strategy will ensure less power outage as far as possible if micro-source can make it. The simulation model is established by using Matlab. Simulation analysis of switching load is carried out in the micro-grid model running in island mode, therefore, it proves that the control strategy under low voltage micro-grid in island mode is reliable and effective.
