Abstract Taking Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) on electric vehicles for research object, by designing test program, stalled characteristic test of PMSM under several different environmental temperatures is conducted and analyzed to discuss the influence of temperature on PMSM stalled characteristic, which can be useful for comprehensive evaluation of PMSM performance and matching of vehicle parameters design.
