Abstract The power through line is an important part of the railway power supply system, and it is the basic premise to ensure the normal operation of the railway signal and other loads, and it also has a certain impact on the normal operation of the railway. The lightning crit is always a reason not to be ignored of the railway power transmission line operation, especially the lightning activity itself has a certain randomness, the influence of lightning crit, the railway power transmission line is likely to appear all kinds of fault tripping. Therefore, timely strengthening lightning protection characteristics of railway power transmission line has become one of the most important work of the power professional designers. In this context, this paper will be combined with a domestic railway corridor, the railway power transmission line lightning protection remediation methods are briefly analyzed.
