Abstract This work presents a comprehensive analysis of operation faults for a 110kV transformer, commissions the cause of the problem, as well as gives the answer to these questions. According to the established technical route, the main transformer non-electricity signal system is designed and integrated into the integrated automation system, and has been tested before practical operation. This work can effectively improve the security and reliability of the substation operation.
