Abstract With the advantages of convenience and comfort, the high-speed railway has developed rapidly in recent years. A large number of on-site observations have revealed that when the high-speed rail passes under the transmission line, significant vibration will occur on the line, which will aggravate the fatigue damage of the line, resulting in a decrease in the mechanical characteristics of the line and causing a dropped line accident. However, there is no research on the influence of train wind on line vibration at home and abroad. The design of the line does not consider the fatigue damage induced by such vibration and the safety reduction. Based on Fluent finite element analysis software, this study uses Fluent finite element analysis software to numerically simulate the velocity field generated by the high-speed rail around the transmission line. After processing and analysis, it is found that the wind speed direction of the train around the line is alternately changing, and the train wind is predicted. It will aggravate the line fatigue damage. It is recommended to have a ground distance of not less than 9m across the high-speed rail line.
