Influence of hybrid eccentricity of rotor on low-speed and high-torque permanent magnet synchronous motor |

Abstract This paper analyzed the hybrid eccentric form and eccentricity of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). Then the performance of the salient-pole permanent magnet synchronous motor model with rotor hybrid eccentricity is studied. The research results show that after the eccentric permanent magnet motor rotor is hybrid eccentric, the air gap magnetic density distribution changes obviously, the back electromotive force decreases, the load current increases, and the electromagnetic vibration noise increases. After turning the outer circumference of the rotor, the back electromotive force decreases, the load current increases, and the electromagnetic vibration noise is not significantly changed. In terms of rotor structure, the unbalanced magnetic pull force generated by the eccentric rotor causes cyclic stress, which reduces the fatigue life of the motor. After turning the outer circle of the rotor, the cyclic stress is weakened, which is beneficial to increase the fatigue life of the motor.
