Multi-objective reactive power optimization in distribution network with distributed generation considering voltage stability |

Abstract A multi-objective reactive power optimization model in distribution network with distributed generation considering voltage stability is formulated. In this model, the active power loss, voltage deviation, and the voltage stability are taken as objective functions. A self-adaptive multi-objective differential evolution algorithm is proposed to obtain the Pareto optimal solutions. The grey correlation analysis method is used to offer decision-makers an optimal compromise solution. Simulation of IEEE 33-bus and IEEE 69-bus distribution system is performed and the simulation result shows that the proposed reactive power optimization method is effective.
