Abstract This paper proposes a method of phase to phase fault location in distribution network with distributed generations, reducing the calculation error by measuring voltage and current at systems and distributed power substation to realize fault location. In order to reduce the calculation error, and puts forward the method of segmenting between main transformer station and DG.Finally, this fault location method has been simulated using PSCAD/EMTDC, to show the method can effectively improve the performance of the fault location.
