Abstract According to DC magnetic of power transformer when HVDC transmission system is running under monopolar ground circuit operation mode, the reason、restrain measures and elimination mechanism were analyzied. Based on DC magnetic bias’ phenomenon and solutions of Jia-xing power plant 600MW unit main transformers caused by ±800kV Fu-feng HVDC transmission, some practical viewpoints and engineering suggests were also proposed.
