Abstract China has built Haiyang and Sanmen nuclear power plant of AP1000.The security and stability of nuclear power plant has very important significance for the Grid. As one of the communication subsystem in AP1000 nuclear power plant, the time synchronization system is designed by Westinghouse corportation,which is not suitable for China’s electric power system requirements. So we propose a new design for time synchronization system to solve these problems, and provide a reliable guarantee for the various control system in the nuclear power plant.
