Abstract Low line relay protection devices currently on the market,most of them are using DSP or ARM processors,expensive its application is limited in scope. MCU is very powerful now,the price advantage is more obvious. Therefore,due to the low pressure line for the relay protection devices are expensive and not universal problems that currently exist,designed a simple low-cost low-voltage circuit protection devices. The device uses cost-effective STC micro-controller,using its own ADC combined Fourier algorithm to achieve the traditional analog relay function,with instantaneous current protection,under-voltage and over-voltage protection,and real-time display of the current grid voltage ,current,active power and power factor,through RS485 or CAN bus data will be uploaded to the PC for further analysis and forecasting users. The field test,running well,fully meet the requirements of low-voltage circuit protection.
