Abstract:In light of the characteristics of the radio measurement technology course, a radio measurement experimental platform is constructed using the software-defined radio open-source GNU Radio platform and virtual machines. Interface specifications are established for commonly used specialized equipment such as spectrum analyzers, and a reservation and time-sharing access mechanism is introduced to enhance the utilization rate of specialized instruments and equipment. The virtual simulation experimental operations maintain consistency with actual offline operations. The integrated experimental platform takes wireless communication system flowchart design, wireless communication system construction, and electromagnetic spectrum information visualization as key steps, simplifying and reducing the learning costs for students in setting up complex communication systems and strengthening their procedural learning of radio measurement technology. In response to common radio services, important policies regarding radio security assurance and electromagnetic spectrum management and control during the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port are introduced. An experimental teaching methodology for radio measurement technology, centered around radio signal transmission and reception, is formulated. Through virtual simulation experiments, students' partici- pation in the radio measurement process is enhanced.
