Abstract:Pole-mounted circuit breakers are widely distributed and structurally complex. The manual inspection is inefficient, which makes it difficult to detect faults in backup power supplies in time. This essay proposes a software and hardware system for online self-testing of pole-mounted circuit breakers. A mathematical model of the normal backup power supply is constructed. By improving the hardware circuit and changing the working mode of the backup power supply, the working status of the circuit breaker’s backup power supply is monitored, at the same time the relevant data is input into the mathematical model. The output of the backup power supply is compared and analyzed with the output of the backup power supply mathematical model, thus abnormal phenomena of the backup power supplies can be detected in time, providing conditions for reducing the probability of circuit breaker failure.
