Abstract Because of the differential protection is simple, selectivity and high reliability, so it has been widely used in line protection. The development of optical fiber technology provide the transmission channel for the reliability of differential protection, however, both sides of the signal analysis and other equipment not matching, will shift to the signal transmission, it cause protection device misoperation. In this paper, Analysis of line differential accident, puts forward some measures, For the line differential protection provides some practical help.
