Abstract  For line Inlet to take difference comprehensive lightning protection improvement measures: the front four tower installation difference protection gap, terminal Tower line surge arrester installed and reducing the front four towers Impulse grounding impedance. To solve the matching problems of the line side and the substation insulation level, reduce the lightning invasion wave peak and steepness. According to the basic principles of AHP and mine power grid characteristics, establish hierarchical structure evaluation model. By solving the corresponding judgment matrix and weight vector, in order to assess line Inlet difference comprehensive lightning reform measures. Finally come into the line lightning transformation of precedence: the front four tower installation difference protection gap terminal Tower line surge arrester installed and reducing the front four towers Impulse grounding impedance and using the ATP-EMTP to simulate the line Inlet effect of lightning protection improvement measures and comparative analysis.
