Abstract  In view of repeated burns on contact spot of Frequency BF1-110 Relay, based on its failure appearance, by examining relative component, conducting repetitive tests, and making comprehensive analysis, this paper focuses on the abnormity in the act of tripped iron core. With a thought given to the grease-like sticky things found inside the core and the insufficient capacity in the relay contact spot, the reason and improvement measures for the burns are finalized, providing a first-hand reference for technical repairmen in this field.
