Research and Simulation for the Basic Control Strategy of LCC-VSC Two-terminal Hybrid HVDC System

Abstract  In order to research the basic control strategy of LCC-VSC hybrid HVDC system, based on the simulation of real-time digital simulator (RTDS), a simulation model of two-terminal hybrid HVDC is established and interfced with a real control hardware system, the simulation model consists of one LCC terminal and one VSC terminal. The start control logic, stop control logic and switch-over of voltage controller's terminal are studied and analyzed. The research results provide reference value for the real project application.
