Review of initial position angle detection in sensorless control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor |

Abstract In high-precision servo control system, in order to ensure the smooth start of the motor and avoid the disadvantages of large volume, poor anti-interference ability, high cost and low reliability caused by the use of position sensors such as photoelectric encoder or rotating transformer, detection methods for the initial position angle in the field of sensorless control technology for PMSM are summarized. Firstly, various methods of initial position detection of sensorless PMSM are introduced, and the advantages and disadvantages of each method are analyzed. Secondly, the most commonly used high frequency signal injection method is introduced in detail. Finally, the development trend of initial position angle detection without position sensor in PMSM is prospected.
