Research on the evaluation mechanism of course objective achievement under professional accreditation and outcome-based education concept: a case study of artificial intelligence courses |

Abstract Against the backdrop of contemporary engineering education reform, establishing an effective evaluation mechanism for course objective achievement is crucial for ensuring teaching quality and optimizing student learning outcomes. This study focuses on engineering education accreditation based on the outcome-based education (OBE) concept, proposing and implementing an evaluation mechanism tailored for the achievement of objectives in the Machine Learning course within the Artificial Intelligence discipline. The paper discusses in detail how this evalua-tion mechanism enhances the synchronization of course content with the latest industry develop-ments through a closed-loop feedback system, clear evaluation indicators, and diversified teaching methods. Additionally, it demonstrates how the mechanism effectively improves students' com-prehensive abilities and learning outcomes. By collaborating with industry experts, this study en-sures the close alignment of teaching objectives with professional practice and the real-time up-dating and optimization of teaching methods. Results indicate that this evaluation mechanism sig-nificantly promotes the continuous improvement of teaching quality and marked progress in stu-dent learning outcomes, providing an innovative strategy for quality assurance in Artificial Intel-ligence education.
