Abstract：Combined with the actual situation of Northwest 750kV power grid, this paper analyzed a typical case which avoided an accident of power network by found the high-voltage reactor internal fault in time, Demonstrated that the online monitoring of high voltage electrical equipment played en important role which found in advance in the power system and predict equipment failure and effectively prevent electric power equipment accidents.
