Abstract:Temperature monitor product base on SAW technology has been used wildly in transform substation of the State Grid and the Southern Power Grid during past years. To overcome some shortages of SAW products and make SAW technology used probably more than power areas, this paper researches the basic principle of SAW, after that, tests and analyzes the self-produced SAW sensor with core chip by the self-built testing circuit. The testing result indicates that SAW sensor has excellent return loss performance. It means that the self-produced SAW sensor can reduce the transmission loss and can be used more extensive than other sensors.
