Abstract:The total hydrocarbon content of a 35kV station transformer in Baoan Staion of Gui-Guang II HVDC is excessive. Through the oil chromatographic analysis, it is diagnosed as low temperature overheat fault. And then through hanging core examination method, this paper diagnose that the fault reason is more than one grounding points on the clamping piece and the grounding points on the clamping piece being unreliable. The improvement measures are presented to solve the problem of fault. Finally the fault is effectively solved. At the same time, this paper offers daily maintenance suggestions and preventive suggestions for the transformer, which the clamping piece of is not extended the lead of ground point from tank to grounding board located in the bottom.
