Abstract：Current study attempts to explore the influence of Distant Switch Signal (DSS) on Circuit Breaker Protection Reclosing in Qiaoxiang converter station. The authors describe the protection abnormality in converter station testing and analyze the design flaws. A batch of solutions are provided to handle such problem to ensure the normal operation of equipment.
