Abstract:Intelligent terminal is a primary process device in digitalized substation automation system. Phase-controlled switching is an effective means to instantaneous electromagnetic effect in switching the power loads with high voltage circuit breakers. A combined realization scheme of intelligent terminal with phase-controlled switching function is proposed. The basic principle of phase-controlled switching is briefly introduced. Then design requirement is succinctly analyzed, and the main parts of the scheme are researched deeply and explained in detail. Depending on the experimentation of pre-industrial prototype, the new device has high practicability. It can not only used as the normal intelligent terminal, but also provides favorable phase-controlled switching function.
