Abstract：The 10kV grounding system with controllable resistance has the advantages of rapid arc extinguishing while instantaneous grounding and reliable fault removal while permanent failure, has been widely used. In this paper, some problems of zero sequence current protection for grounding transformer in grounding system with controllable resistance are studied, and the corresponding optimal solution is put forward.
