Abstract:The analytical method effectively solves the problem of long solution time for finite element method in tubular linear motors. Currently, most analytical methods focus on analyzing tubular linear motor with iron core, and there is little analysis on ironless tubular permanent magnet synchronous linear motor (ITPMSLM) without iron core. In response to this issue, this article adopts the separation of variables method to solve ITPMSLM. Firstly, a sub domain analytical model of the motor is established, then the separation of variables method is used to obtain the analytical expression of the air gap magnetic density at no load, and the expressions of the back electromotive force and thrust of the motor are derived. Finally, finite element simulation is conducted, and the results show the effectiveness of this analytical method in analyzing ITPMSLM.
