Abstract:With the construction of clean energy/energy base and the rapid development of UHVDC, the synchronous compensator will be put into operation to improve the power factor and raise the voltage level of the grid. The input of the SFC system need the motor DCS and excitation to achieve seamless coordination, which requires the verification of SFC system and other control devices, synchronization device function and one or two equipment coordination effect. Through debugging of the world's first 300Mvar synchronous compensator at the scene of the national grid's ±800kV converter, the SFC system and the motor, DCS, and the excitation of sequence control design and control strategy is introduced, and through on-site operation results, verify the feasibility of the sequence control logic strategy.
