Abstract：The over-speed protection system of Hydrogenerator sets is mainly used to prevent damage to the unit caused by the excessive speed accident of the unit, and the reliable operation of the over-speed protection device and its automatic components is a necessary condition to ensure the correct action of the over-speed protection system. This paper analyzes the setting of the over-speed protection system in Futang Dam water power plant and the hidden danger of safety, and puts forward the technical reform idea of the over-speed protection.
