Abstract:If a transformer works under abnormal conditions for a long time, its mechanical structure could be damaged so as to affect safety production. Dry-type transformers cannot be equipped with gas protection, so feedback of the operating status of the transformer through vibration information is a desirable method. The electric-magnetic-mechanical coupling model of the dry-type transformer is first established in this paper. And the simulation software of Ansys Workbench is used to simulate the vibration of the SCB dry-type transformer in the cases of a short circuit in the secondary winding and the presence of DC bias. Through finite element analysis, the vibration characteristics of the transformer under different working conditions are extracted, which provides a basis for the fault diagnosis and operating life analysis of the transformer.
