Frequency response calculation of lumped parameter equivalent circuit of transformer winding based on tearing method

Abstract:To further reduce the memory occupied and save calculation time of frequency response calculation of lumped parameter equivalent circuit of transformer winding, the tearing method is studied. First, according to the structural characteristics of the circuit model, the appropriate tearing nodes are selected. Second, the circuit is torn into separate networks and the nodal admittance matrices of these networks are calculated. According to the contribution of each subchain, the nodal admittance matrix of each node is aggregated into the nodal admittance matrix of the entire network, and the calculation equation of the frequency response based on tearing method is obtained. Then, Multisim circuit simulation software is used to verify the accuracy of the proposed method. Finally, the superiority of the proposed method is verified by comparison with the typical circuit matrix algorithm in terms of frequency response calculation time and storage capacity. The comparison results show that the proposed method has faster computational efficiency and less storage space than those of the typical circuit matrix algorithm.
