Abstract:The loss of off-site AC power supply is an expected operation event in the design of nuclear power units. It plays a positive role in the transition of the unit to a safe and stable state when the operator's concerns are clearly defined during the accident handling. Taking Tianwan nuclear power station phase II project as an example, this paper discusses and studies the important concerns related to the steam generator water supply and the safety outage of the turbine generator in the secondary circuit under accident condition. Through the analysis on possible problems of the system during the process of automatic action and operator manual intervention, solution are put forward to improve personnel response ability under transient conditions and ensure the safety of the system equipment.
