Abstract:This paper analyzes the impace of protecting electronic switches and improving the ability of LVRT when fault current limiter connected to distributed network, then set up a solar cell model the DC-DC small signal model, a boost converter and inverter model in the PSCAD/EMTDC, and the above devices incorporated into the model to simulate in PSCAD/EMTDC. The simulation results show that fault current fault current limiter can limiting the size of the the fault current and improving the ability of LVRT.
