Abstract：New urban distribution network planning, namely to determine the distribution network structure based on load growth in the Metro area within the planning period to meet the power requirements. The plan covers the load forecasting, power balance, grid planning and investment evaluation of the effectiveness and so on. In this paper, a new urban county in Chongqing, the use of artificial develop programs, coupled with computer-aided method, load forecasting on the basis of planning. Practice shows that the method has a strong practical.
