Abstract To address problems existing in present high-speed rail power quality, a high-speed rail power quality analysis software platform for smart grid is proposed. In addition to model simulation analysis of high-speed rail, more functions are developed: analysis and the results show of the test data and the record data, and typical event recognition by building an off-line high-speed characteristic waveform library. The concept to apply this platform to Jiangsu power quality monitoring platform is presented. At present, the main function module of the platform has been put into practical use.
