Design of Smart On-Line Insulation Monitoring System for HV Apparatuses |

Abstract The research subject of this paper is to realize real-time monitoring on the insulation situation of transformer substation’s main transformer, potential transformer, current transformer, coupling capacitor and arresters. For this reason, design some parts of the hardware of this system, develop zero magnetic flow with high-resolution of sampling and super ability of anti-jamming, local bus and local monitoring unit is fixed to link with software of the system. Process, store, analyse, and transfers multifarious insulation parameter of each equipment, give an alarm when the parameter is overrun, achieve long distance transmission and share monitoring data by local area network. The test result shows that it has the important meaning to enhance monitoring method, raise equipment safe management. It is efficiently helpful for the building of smart power grids.
