Abstract Factory overhead traveling crane hoisting mechanism using stator voltage control device, in this kind of control mode, when back to zero position,the braking distance of hoisting mechanism occasionally exceeds the normal length, this phenomenon brings a great security risk to the lifting operation, however, the occurrence of this fault, the associated control equipment has no any alarmings and faults, which brings great difficulties to the failure investigation. In this paper through in-depth research on equipment operation principle, searching and analyzing the root causes of the equipment brake distance, guarantee the safe operation of production.
