Abstract This paper describes the application of Micronet TMR system as the turbine protection system of Tianwan Unit 3 turbine, especially TMR redundancy principle, the system structure, control principle, and features. Also, this paper explains the difference between Micronet TMR andgeneral 2 out of 3 redundant controller.
