| The Affection of Generator Protection by the Electric Braking of Hydro-generator |

Abstract This paper describes the electric brake principle of hydro-generator. It points out the impact of generator protection by the braking. Through describing the problem of generator protection by the electric braking in engineering example, analyze the impact of generator protection by the electric braking. The result shows some protections will act in the process of electric braking and influence the progress of electric braking .Finally it gives out the announcements of the setting values of relay protection.
