Harmonic Affection on Electrical Energy Measurement |

Abstract Based on the electric energy measurement theory, the formula deduction of the electrical energy measurement under linear and non-linear load in the system which exist harmonics, and pointed out the irrationality of the existing electric energy metering. Then, the SimPowerSyetems module of Matlab was used to verify the accuracy of electronic energy measurement; based on this simulation method, the system exist non-linear load was simulated, the simulation results shows that when the power system contains harmonic, actual consumption of electrical energy for linear user is lower than the measurement of energy measuring electricity, and the actual electricity power consumption of non-linear users is higher than the measurement of electrical energy measurement, so more reasonable method for electric energy metering is needed in further study. Based on the partial least squares regression model, a assessment method about non-linear level was propose, which increase the measuring accuracy of energy measurement under non-linear load.
