Abstract In order to guarantee the power supply of DC load in substation, temporary batteries is required on Checking the capacity of the substation’s batteries for running, or only the 50% capacity discharging test is allowed. This paper introduced three kinds of wiring schemes for 50% capacity discharge test, and discussed the matters needing attention in these tests with their advantages or disadvantages.
