Abstract This paper presents an intelligent controller of data collection scheme based on 485 communication technology, Introduces the basic characteristics of RS-485 serial communication, communication interface circuit and communication program. It is the intelligent valve controller data acquisition scheme based on 485 communication technology between the flow meter and intelligent valve controller, which replaces the original pulse method of collecting and receiving scheme, and realizes the reliable transmission between the metering equipment and intelligent valve controller. Using this scheme, can effectively avoid the trouble which is produced by the different metering mode between the measurement instrument and the intelligent prepayment controller. This data acquisition scheme achieved very good results through the application in the products.
