Research on Sensorless Control Method of PMSM based on an Improved Sliding Mode Observer |

Abstract Based on the chattering problem and the dependence of the parameters in the running process, a Sigmoid function is used and an equation of the soliding mode gain and the estimated back-EMF is built to weaken the chattering problem, finally the signal of speed and Angle was obtained with a FO-SPLL, this method reduce error and complexity comparing with the traditional calculation method. Then a Matlab platform was built to validate this method, the experimental results show that the improved sliding mode observer can improve the response speed, strong robustness and inhibit the chattering to a certain extent, on the other hand it also can improve the dynamic performance and accuracy.
