Abstract In order to manage a series of important Telemetry Values for Dispatchers and Power-supervisors, a intelligent monitoring-warning method for such values is proposed to judge whether the important value is hopping or limited. The Article introduces a reasonable method for acquiring hopping-threshold and limited-threshold of the values. It makes full use of the potential function of the new Dispatching-Control Integration System established for Bijie Power Grid, which could make the hopping message and the limited message warned in the alarm window accurately if the value is really hopping or limited. And the corresponding high density graphics which is solved by using the temporal database technology is displayed in the front of all graphics automatically for warning. The method is used for Bijie Power Grid commendably, and gives a strong technology to manage such values for Dispatchers and Power-supervisors.
