Transient analysis of 300MW hydro-power units grid-connected based on PMU data |

Abstract According to the requirements of the No.36 Document of Central China Power Regulatory Sub-center, the Geheyan Power Plant completed the upgrade of the synchronized phasor measurement unit at the end of 2016. Based on the millisecond level characteristic electric quantity data collected by the unit during the grid connection, the grid-connected instantaneous of the transient transition process of active power and reactive power were analyzed, including the low-frequency oscillation and convergence of active power, the voltage step response process of the excitation regulator, and the process of balancing the reactive power and reactive power absorbed by the unit. There is a certain reference value for the analysis of the characteristic electric quantity data of the large-scale hydropower unit grid-connected process.
