Abstract Because our factory is located on the coast and the air humidity is high, this paper introduces the defect analysis of 10kV high voltage three-phase winding rotor asynchronous motor in the pulping workshop of our factory under the high air humidity environment. By changing the rotor form of the motor, changing the soft start mode, increasing the automatic heating and dehumidification system for humidity detection, the existing defects are eliminated, and the safety of the equipment and the flexibility of starting and stopping are improved.
