Abstract The traditional substation direct current (DC) system using store battery groups, comes out a parallel operation of battery groups when discharge. This operation with high difficulty, brings risks of current circulation and mistaking operation, which threat the using age of store battery seriously. For this defect, a DC system parallel connection protector in substation and a control system managing for battery charge or discharge are proposed, which support substation DC system parallel connection. The heavy promotion of these technology, enhance battery safety in substation, simplify maintain procedure and reduce maintain cost of battery, have wide prospect of application.
