Research on Improving Valve Control System Performance of Converter Valve for VSC-HVDC |

Abstract In Europe and the United States VSC-HVDC transmission technology has gradually matured. With several projects put into operation, this technology in China is in a rapid development stage. With the domestic flexible HVDC transmission project voltage level and capacity of the rapid increase in the performance of the converter valve control system also put forward higher requirements. In this paper, we propose a method to improve the performance of flexible HVDC controller system by reducing the controller control cycle, adopting high speed bus VPX and configuring expert diagnosis system.
