Abstract In order to improve the quality of power supply service and reduce the impact on residential, commercial or industrial loads caused by power grid outage maintenance operations, the application of distribution network uninterrupted operation technology is becoming more and more extensive. In this paper, through the use of distribution transformer reverse boosting, high-voltage flexible cables, overhead bypass lines, uninterruptible power supplies and other technical means, the uninterrupted operation plans for many maintenance work are discussed. Combined with field application cases, the corresponding solutions and suggestions are proposed to provide a basis for the efficient, safe and reliable operation of the distribution network.
