Abstract:Aiming at the closing failure of field circuit breaker in pumped storage power plants, this paper proposes a multidimensional diagnostic method integrated with electromechanical collaborative optimization. By establishing a multidimensional fault hypothesis system covering circuit breaker transmission mechanism failures, component anomalies, and control circuit logic defects, the fault mechanism is systematically analyzed and investigated. Through theoretical analysis of the control circuit and its action sequence, the root cause is identified as a design flaw in the sequential coordination mechanism of the opening/closing control circuits. Based on the fault diagnosis, optimization strategies such as improving trigger redundancy, optimizing functional positioning, and accessing circuit breaker status monitoring nodes are developed to resolve the issue, which enhances the redundancy configuration of the field circuit breaker control circuit and ensures the safe and stable operation of the pumped storage power plant.
